Dates and times for the opening of the Holy Doors in Rome
On Tuesday, December 24, at 6:30 p.m., the solemn opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica will take place, marking the official beginning of the 2025 Jubilee. Following this, from 7:00 p.m., Pope Francis will preside over Mass in the Basilica. Also on December 29, as established by the Holy Father in the Bull of Indiction of the Jubilee, Spes non confundit, bishops all over the world will celebrate Mass in their Cathedrals to mark the solemn opening of the Jubilee Year in each diocese.
On January 1, 2025, the solemn feast of Mary Most Holy Mother of God, the Holy Door of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore will be opened at 5:00 p.m. Information on how to participate can be found on the website of the Basilica:

The last Holy Door to be opened will be that of the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, on Saturday, January 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
