December 22nd Concert of the Pontifical Sistine Chapel Choir in Sant’Apollinare for the Jubilee
On Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, at 5:30 pm, in the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Rome, there will be a special concert by the Pontifical Sistine Chapel Choir directed by Monsignor Marcos Pavan as part of the season "Jubilee is culture". The choir will perform a selection of polyphonic pieces by composers such as Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Lorenzo Perosi, and Domenico Bartolucci, three fundamental figures in the history of sacred music. The event will help all who attend to live the days preceding the opening of the Jubilee in a spirit of genuine contemplation of the mystery of faith.
