Events “Dialogues in the City”

Meeting with the Filipino journalist Maria Ressa who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021 and Colum McCann, the Irish writer who is the author of best sellers such as Apeirogon and Let the Great World Spin. Event organized by the Vatican Dicastery for Communication.

The event will be held at the Pontifical Patristic Institute, Augustinianum (via Paolo VI, 25) and will be in English with translation available in Spanish. The Vespers presided over by the Holy Father will be streamed live from the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, concluding the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The film, "Green Lava" will be screened at the end.

"Professional development course reserved for journalists"
The meeting is organized by Ucsi with the Italian Order of Journalists, Fnsi, Stampa Estera, Copercom, Fisc, Odg , WeCa, and the Constructive Network. The event, in Italian, will be held at the headquarters of the National Order of Journalists (via Sommacampagna 19).

“Journalism at the service of democracy. Pilgrims of hope, communicating the Jubilee 2025 to build together a better world” … this is the title of the training course for journalists scheduled - as part of the Jubilee of the World of Communication - on Saturday 25 January 2025, from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the “Ocera” room of the National Council of the Order of Journalists, in via Sommacampagna, 19, (in person) and via streaming in the “Walter Tobagi” room of the National Federation of the Italian Press, via delle Botteghe Oscure, 54, in Rome.

The course is organized by the Italian Catholic Press Union (UCSI) in collaboration with the National Council of the Order of Journalists, the Order of Journalists of Lazio, the Foreign Press Association in Italy, Fisc, Copercom, WeCa, the International Federation of Catholic Media, Constructive Network Italia and I–Press.

The meeting will open with greetings from Alessandro Gisotti, Deputy Editorial Director of Vatican Media, Guido D'Ubaldo, President of the Order of Journalists of Lazio and Maurizio Di Schino, President of Ucsi Lazio.
