Jubilee of Adolescents: Guide for pilgrims arriving in Rome

23 April 2025

From 23 to 27 April 2025, the Jubilee of Adolescents will be held in Rome, a unique event that will bring together over 80,000 young teens from all over the world. To assist groups of pilgrims, a guide has been prepared with all the practical information you may need.

Each registered teenager will receive an official Jubilee kit. It can be collected from Wednesday 23 April at 3pm, at the Info Point in Via dell’Ospedale 1. The kit will include a Jubilee bag, two t-shirts, a hat, a recycled plastic bottle, a rosary, a bandana and a bracelet.

Meal vouchers for pilgrims

During the Jubilee, participants will have access to a system of digital meal vouchers. Activated via the QR code on the personal badge, the meal vouchers have a value of €10 each and can be used to purchase food and menus specifically made available for the occasion from participating restaurants. The vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be combined with cash/card payments. There are no daily spending limits. Pilgrims can use the store locator on the official Jubilee app to easily find participating stores throughout Rome and access the special promotions.

For more details, and to view a video tutorial on how to use the Food Pass, you can consult the official event page.

Transport: Roma72ore ticket for Teenagers of Hope

The badge provided to each participant contains a QR code which allows access to the ATAC (Rome Capitale Mobility Company) online portal through which you can redeem the Roma72 Ore ticket, valid for three consecutive days. This pass allows the use of city and suburban buses, metro lines A, B, B1 and C, regional trains (for travel between accommodation locations and Jubilee activities) and extra-urban Cotral coach services. In addition, for those who need it, a type-G parking permit is available at a reduced rate (€50), which can be purchased from the Roma Mobilità website.

Further details, including tutorials, are available in the transport section of the app and on the ATAC portal.

The recommended access points are: Piazza Sant'Uffizio, Piazza Risorgimento and Piazza Pia. To easily reach the event area, we recommend using the Ottaviano, Lepanto or Cipro Metro stations. It is important to remember that some areas of the city could be closed to traffic from the evening of April 26, so please check via the official channels for updates.

Due to the period of mourning following the death of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, participants in the Jubilee of Adolescents are invited to download the official app “Iubilaeum25”, available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, so as to receive real-time communications and last-minute updates. In addition, during the days of the event, several information points will be active at the following addresses:

● Info Point Via della Conciliazione, 7;

● Info Point Via dell’Ospedale, 1;
