‘Praying today’ - the first volume of the "Notes on Prayer" series is in bookstores now

The “Notes on Prayer” series, promoted by the Dicastery, is made up of eight short volumes, which are being made available to Episcopal Conferences and diocesan communities. They will be a useful aid for deepening and rediscovering the centrality of prayer in the various forms that the Spirit has inspired and continues to inspire.

The Vatican Publishing House has already published the first volume written by Cardinal Angelo Comastri, Pregare Oggi. Una Sfida da Vincere in Italian with a Preface by Pope Francis. The book can be purchased online. In February the booklets ‘Praying with the Psalms’, by Gianfranco Ravasi and ‘The Prayer of Jesus’, will follow.

The volumes will soon also be available in English, translated by the Indian Episcopal Conference; in Spanish, published by Biblioteca de Autores Cristianos and Sociedad de San Pablo and translated by the Mexican Episcopal Conference; and in Portuguese, translated by the Brazilian Episcopal Conference.
