Jubilee and Hope: from January, meetings for young people will be held in the heart of Rome
During the Jubilee year, various associations and movements in Rome will organize a meeting space for young people every month to "nourish and strengthen hope". It will be held from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, in the heart of the Trevi district (via del Carmine 4). The gatherings will be dedicated to silence, listening, reflection and the sharing of experiences, in an atmosphere designed to promote meditation and sharing.
Each meeting will be inspired by a phrase from Scripture, based on the themes of the various Jubilee events, which vary every month, while always maintaining the common thread of hope and solidarity. The events are being held to give young people an opportunity to come into contact with different social realities and to have an experience of being in a community united by the same search for meaning.
Throughout the year, the meetings will address issues that touch the daily lives of people and society. The first meeting, scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2025, will focus on the Jubilee of the World of Communication, reflecting on the role of the media and words as instruments of hope and change.
