International Conference for Catholic Institutional Communicators.
INVITATION-ONLY EVENT
This global conference, as part of the Jubilee of the Presidents of the Episcopal Commission for Communication and the Directors of Offices for Social Communication, will address some of the most frequent questions that communicators in the Church face today.
In a world undergoing rapid digital transformation, the Church finds itself at the forefront of constant changes; communicators must navigate the demanding relations with media, rise of new platforms and influence of social media, many are wondering how to create and adapt their communication strategies so their message can reach the faithful of all generations.
Additionally, the Church is not immune to crises, polarization, disinformation, disinterest of secular media, censorship, and even prosecutions of faithful. Furthermore, questions surrounding artificial intelligence have become increasingly prevalent, adding another layer of complexity to the Church’ communication landscape.
Despite challenges, this evolving media environment presents numerous opportunities for communicators spreading the Good News, in this conference we will explore them together!
Attendees will gain valuable insights from internationally recognized experts in communication, exchange opinions and experiences with other fellows involved in the communication of the Church, participate in workshops and discussions, explore innovative strategies and emerging trends in communication, hear testimonials showcasing that communication can drive wanted and positive changes in the Church and in the society.
It is also possible for the General Secretaries of Episcopal Conferences or for eventual other figures relevant for communication in the local Church to participate in this conference.
