Jubilee of Deacons, official program published

The Jubilee event, aimed at all permanent deacons and their families and friends, will open at 3:30 pm on Friday, February 21 with a welcome ceremony and the recitation of the Ora Media in the various Jubilee churches, in language groups. This will be followed by catechesis sessions, a pilgrimage to the Holy Door, a Vocation Vigil, and finally the celebration of Holy Mass presided over by the Holy Father in St. Peter's Square.

The deadline for registration for the Jubilee event is December 21, 2024.

The event requires the payment of a Solidarity Quota, which will be used to assist those deacons who need the financial help of the Dicastery.

A small handbook prepared by the Dicastery for Evangelization containing useful information can also be downloaded online at the web page of the event.
