Jubilee 2025, the World Youth Days of 2023 and 2024 will have "Hope" as their main theme

Pope Francis has announced that the next World Youth Days (WYD), which will be celebrated at diocesan level in 2023 and 2024, on the solemnity of Christ the King of both years, will have the theme of ‘Hope’ at their center. The Days will be included in the preparatory calendar for the Youth Jubilee of the Holy Year 2025, which, as has been already announced, has as its motto ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.
The theme of the 38th WYD, which will be held on Sunday 26 November 2023, will be: "Happy in hope" (Rm 12,12), while that of the following WYD, which will be celebrated on Sunday 24 November 2024, will be: “Those who hope in the Lord shall walk without growing weary" (Isaiah 40:31).
