Catholic Military Connect: an app to promote Christian values among those serving in the Armed Forces around the world
The Apostolat Militaire International (AMI), together with Father Michel Remery's Tweeting with GOD initiative, has launched a new app - Catholic Military Connect (CMC). The app aims to support military personnel in reflecting on their faith and religious life through prayers, testimonies, answers to military questions, and spirituality. It will also serve as a direct link with chaplains and associations. Available in eight languages, the app will be an important resource for the spiritual well-being of Catholic military personnel, responding to their needs even in the most difficult situations.
During the Jubilee of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Personnel, the Catholic Military Connect app played a significant role as a spiritual resource for military personnel. The aim is to make the user’s military service more human and more Christian, fostering faith and spiritual growth even in the most complex contexts.
The Catholic Military Connect app offers a wide range of features designed to help military personnel reflect on life and faith while serving. A unique aspect of the app is the ability for users to connect with military chaplains and Catholic associations, making it easy to access guidance, counseling, and support directly through the app.
The app also features a rich database of spiritual resources, including prayers and devotions in multiple languages. Members of the military using the app will also be able to access Pope Francis’ monthly prayer resources and explore a variety of questions related to life, faith, and spirituality. This makes the app not only a source of spiritual nourishment, but also a tool allowing users to access the Church’s teachings and deepen their relationship with God, no matter where they are located.
Currently available for free download on all platforms, the Catholic Military Connect app is available in eight languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Croatian, German, Portuguese, and Dutch.
